Everything to do with the USA's own Imperial Backyard. From hispanics to the originary peoples of the americas to the diasporas, South America to Central America, to the Caribbean to North America (yes, we're also there).

Post memes, art, articles, questions, anything you'd like as long as it's about Latin America. Try to tag your posts with the language used, check the tags used above for reference (and don't forget to put some lime and salt to it).

Here's a handy resource to understand some of the many, many colloquialisms we like to use across the region.

"But what about that latin american kid I've met in college who said that all the left has ever done in latin america has been bad?"

I have no idea how bitcoin works nor how the brain of an ancap functions, but maybe they think having the bitcoin will be more valuable in the future as USD devaluates and bitcoin increases in value?

Still dumb as fuck though.

so you pay 100 USDT worth of Bitcoin, why is Bitcoin being shoved into this? Why not just pay with Tether directly, itll be cheaper and less volatile.

cryptobros picard

this is just one contract, so its not a problem but what if every rental contract were in USDT, where would the USDT come from when the supply in circulation is not enough?
