Is there any way to mark messages as read badge-wise when you access them? (lemmy.ca)

I get a notification that I have a message/comment, and when I read it, I still have to clear it by hitting the envelope button to clear the notification from the app.

Will there be a way to make this clear when read sometime in the future?

Swiping far left on the comment will clear it, unless you are experiencing a bug. Also, responding should normally clear it.

Responding doesn’t clear it.
