This is awful news, I'm really hoping this comes with making whatever serious alterations to the course they can to actually make it fun to watch. The track really reminds me of the series of forgettable-to-awful street course layouts that made up a lot of the Champ Car schedule in the couple years before the merger. I try not to be a complainer about the business of racing, but it wouldn't have been my first choice I guess I am saying.

I do hope the changes to the track go through. But even with the track changes, I wish they had a non-finale race there before making a potentially bad track season finale.

On another note, I'm very happy the St. Pete Texas gap is being filled.
