So from the profile of an internationally experienced coach with Ajax-DNA they ended up with a new manager that did not coach or play for any top club, domestic or otherwise. Additionally Steijn is not know for playing the football that Ajax propagates thoughout their academy and in the first team. Even though Steijn made average teams overperform this quality does not neccesarily translate into a useful skill for the richest team in the country with international aspirations and playing under the pressure of a top club. Seems to be doomed from the start if you ask me.
I'm hoping this might mean Celtic don't just sign up Rodgers and give Knudsen a call (I know this won't happen)
