Babbdi weirdest game I've ever played. Can't even explain why it's enjoyable. It feels a bit like that sad junk drawer every house has, but the house is in communist goulag.

BG3 with my GF. After almost 200h we are closing the wrapping out first play through.
Alone I recently started Nier Replicant after having played Automata last year. Different feel to it and the quests are fairly basic atm (go here, do that) but I owe it to the developers to play it.
How has the coop experience been? We have been thinking about buying it and play it together too. Just gotta figure out the best setup for us first. Thinking about streaming the game from my PC to our Nvidia Shield Pro, then have two PS5 Controllers connected to the TV.
Would be interested in hearing about what setup you went for :-)
That would work
We play it on my pc which is wired directly to the tv. We use 2 XBOX controllers but PS4 ones will work just as well.
You will probably want to have a pretty big screen because it’s almost always split screen (except in some dialogues if that other player listens to the convo). However you can always set the fonts to a bigger size which is super helpful.
Unfortunately it’s not like DOS 2 where the split screen merges when you are close together but that’s not the end of the world. The game has turn based combat so even if you have some streaming delays it’s not a big deal.
Your frame rate will drop a bit on Act 3 but it gets better with every patch.
If you have any more questions let me know.
Thanks a lot 🌻
Luckily we have a 70inch TV, so that should be good.
DOS 2 did nail that aspect of the game for sure!
Have fun!!
Ostensibly, I am paying several games, but realistically, just a lot of Deep Rock Galactic.
What is the difference between rock and stone?
Legally speaking, rocking is more acceptable than stoning.
Lots of Palworld, it really is fun to grind XP, complete Towers and Dungeons or to create your perfect forced labor camps for your mindbroken pals.
Yep, this is the one. Has me hooked and I host a server with friends and it’s fun as fuck to run around with my buddies
After a week of modding mayhem, I am in Skyrim again!
Enshrouded shows promise for an early access game. Lots to improve on, so probably safer to wait it out, but I'm a sucker for survival crafters.
Yeah I've been really enjoying the building in single player but I'm beginning to feel like I need to hit up multiplayer to get as much as I can out of the experience as it is now. I wish they would release a road map
Monster Hunter World for the first time!
I'm trying to get into Daggerfall. I probably wouldn't have got past character creation without a guide, and I died an embarrassing number of times in the intro dungeon, but once I got to town and figured out how to pick up quests things started to come together. We'll see how far I get.
I hope you are playing the unity rebuild of the game.
Yes, and the latest version, too. Silly me assuming the version on GoG would be kept up to date...thankfully I didn't lose too much time.
Might and Magic 7
Please slap Nikolai Ironfist for me!
Against the Storm. Really great roguelight (meta progression) city builder-esque. Has some Tropico vibes, but the replayability and mechanics are really good.
Replaying Death's Door
God I loved that game, my partner loved watching me play it too which is super rare lol
A friend recommended Medieval Dynasty. It has a few bugs, but overall I’ve been addicted like I haven’t been for a long time. “Have been” addicted because after 60 hours the initial rush does get dimmer, but I still like playing the game.
You live in a medieval world, where you settle down and build your own village, chopping wood, hunting, gathering, farming and mining. You can also convince hobos to settle in your village and help you with chores.
The story has you finding out what happened to your uncle after he left. You find out he has led an astonishing life via lots of funny conversations with his former friends. The game has quest dialogue you actually want to read. Cudos to that alone.
Finished Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Torna: the Golden Country last week. The gameplay was largely the same, and I didn't find that to be the base game's strength. I mostly liked the story but the dozens of forced side quests absolutely killed any pacing it had going for it, and there was sidequest-styled filler even before that in the main questline. On top of that, I have a few nits to pick about how the story closed out. Ultimately I was rather disappointed, considering I'd heard a lot of positive word-of-mouth on this over the years.
For now, I've got one more year left in Atelier Meruru, so I'm going to see about closing that one out. This is probably going to end up being my favorite in the series so far, but I'm really looking forward to the games with the looser/no time limits.
I also just started the demo for Synergy, an upcoming city builder in the style of Pharaoh and Emperor. Mostly good, but the biggest problem by far is that the buildings need a more developed work-order system. Could see this being a worthy successor in this genre.
Still playing Street Fighter 6 pretty much everyday. Looking at who to try and get Master rank with next.
Learning Tekken 8, but complete scrub at 3D fighters so taking it slow and trying out a bunch of people.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is my current non fighting game time sink as well. Absolutely loving the game, the quality of the combat and character variety is fantastic. Although definitely would have enjoyed more variety in the end game.
Mass Effect 2
I started it about a year ago so finally have gone back to finish it off. Normally I play paragon but I'm going (mostly) renegade this time.
Binding of Isaac. Just hit 1300 hours. Going for another Dead God save file.
I think Dave the Diver and Against the Storm gave me carpal tunnel. Not sure how since I was probably more relaxed in Re4
Anno 1503
Felt nostalgic, and I like to shoot myself in the foot during finals by escaping for a few hours.
trying to grind this goddamn AH-1 heli on warthunder so i can move up to the next shitty american chopper: the huey.
Fooling my short attention span by alternating Talos Principle 2, Valheim, Genshin Impact and (when I can find friends to play with) Overwatch
After my friends recommendation, I gave the cod mw trilogy a try. First one was good, but shows its age (thise red dot sights are awful).
2nd is great, and my favorite. Seeing a major conflict in the usa, dropping down in a small neighborhood, fighting for your life in a random burger restaurant, its great.
MW3 is good, but its hard to top usa being invaded. Loved Yuri tho.
Playing Dead Space Remake and enjoying it so far. I hate the UI though. It's my first ever DS game.
