Keep your secrets sensei. You get no more attention from me. Happy gatekeeping, or trolling or whatever this supposed to be.

Should all new Linux users get through 10 distros and years of trial and error, before settling for one they like the most?
Imagine you want to leave MS and windows behind and are greeted by comments of your caliber. Then please provide an alternative starting point, elaborate, be helpful.
This is just passive aggressive my dude.
They are probably the best distros for newcomers. I think its an absolutely valid comment.
First I thought its a behind the scenes pic from The Princess Bride
Its part of the standard edition.
Switched about a year ago. Linux is surprisingly plug and play these days. So far installed Mint on two systems: 15 years old laptop with Nvidia GPU, 10 years old desktop with AMD GPU. Also have a new built gaming PC with Bazzite. Now I do 100% of my gaming on linux.
I dont think I used the terminal twice and everything just works. Unless you have some niche hardware switching should be a piece of cake.
Im olny like 15 hours in, but I honestly don't think the game requires any major mods in this state.
This is coming from a person, who spent days modding the shit out if Bethesda games until I broke them and had to start over. While 15-20 years ago I had plenty of free time for modding, this remaster already done the heavy lifting with the graphics and minor gameplay tweaks and I am just happy to launch the game and play it as is. Call it laziness if you want :)
It still coud use some minor stuff, like key ring for inventory management, local map hotkey, alchemy interface tweaks, disabling sell confirmation messages, etc.
Nothing critical in my opinion, so the modding drama seems a bit exaggerated.
What the game desperately needs is more optimization though.
New Vegas, the writing of the dialoges are brilliant. Some of the funniest or straight up saddest stuff are both there.
A better question is why was phone?
You are not alone. There are so many quality open world action games out there that I never understood the hype around GTA.
He would launch the Pope Coin
You have 5 seconds to comply...and show me the road to Mordor.
