So far it’s rating well enough that I haven’t cancelled AppleTV after the price rise.
I’ll be cancelling as soon as the seasons finished, just haven’t yet.

I just watched episode 3 of monarch and it was crispy, so not a universal problem.
My 8bitdo controllers work with AppleTV and switch.
In photos hit the little 3 dot circle and then “hide”
I put my questionables in the faceID locked private folder
Wifi only devices suck, so if it’s not thread you generally want zigbee which is going to need a hub.
Then some companies take that further and require their own proprietary hubs.
Schedule? Get a plugin that monitors the azimuth of the sun and then work out the amount of light you want for them to open and close, and plug that into a calculator.
Bam, your shades now open and close year round summer and winter with zero intervention.
Also recommend a window sensor so you can program it not to close or only close to 20% if the window is open.
Could be as simple as wanting to sneak in gifts from the car honestly. Not everything being hidden is malicious, people have the right to privacy and autonomy.
I’m all about cameras external, and hey maybe internal facing doors is good added security. The rest? Nah inside your home needs some privacy.
I guess some people like watching indoor pets but even kids need some privacy and boundaries.

Studio display would be a giant waste of money on an AppleTV. You want a TV with HDMI CEC.
If you want to go a monitor I’d suggest one of those TV operating system monitors might essentially be TV’s without a terrestrial tuner.
