Want to find the money? Increase the ability of the IRS to perform more audits. The richest folks are already not paying the taxes they should be. $688 billion per year!
Security risk is the bigger concern IMHO. These devices are often a security weak point for networks. Putting them on their own wifi network and then isolating that network is critical.

I really liked it when the show first started. I thought the divergence from the regular formula at the time was a nice change. The theme of the song was also on point for the theme of the show - humanity coming into their own on the galactic stage. I'm in the middle of my first rewatch since the show first aired. I still like it. As for adding a base line to it in season 3....WTF?
Why stop at 7? There are so many more good ones:

Not surprising. This was the time before antibiotics, medical treatments were often lacking in any sort of evidence, and there were no widespread vaccines. Chronic conditions in the young were far more common than today - think latent tuberculosis, after effects of polio, rheumatic heart disease, parasites, chronic environmental lung diseases (silicosis, coal miners lung, etc.). Even basic nutrition wasn't sufficient in many areas of society.

Also, conservatism in Churchill's era is absolutely NOT what conservatism is now.
