I reckon it's fair to refer to them both under the broad term "A.I.", though, even if it is technically incorrect. The semi-evolved have all decided to call it A.I., so were all calling it A.I., I guess.
They're also good for sifting through vast amounts of data and seeking patterns quickly.
But nothing coming out of them should be relied on without some human scrutiny. Even human output shouldn't be relied on without scrutiny from different humans.

I imagine a post-scarcity world where all basic needs are met for everyone on the planet without question, and with minimal need for human labour, and that more as technical overseers. People would be free to work as much or as little as they want at whatever they want for their own betterment, or the betterment of the world, or do nothing at all if they want, or whatever. Is that too much to ask?
