Migadu is cheap AF, I pay 19€ a year.

And I can use my own domain and unlimited email address (so I can switch my whole family over for that amount)

I also love their No BS approach, they even list the drawbacks of using Migadu as one of the main links on their site https://www.migadu.com/procon/

Very nice 👌 I strongly considered them but ended up going with Migadu

I think infomaniak is the better solution for most people, their UX seems good.

Thanks for sharing.

Most YouTubes use 10x different titles for a video and change them every say 30min to see which one gets the most clicks.

Veratasium did a great video about this, and why he's also forced to do it to survive the YT algorithm

Bluesky isn't decentralised, given enough time there is nothing stopping it from becoming X

Nice!!

What alternatives do you use now? (email, documents etc.)

I watch John Oliver a lot I like his content and agree with the vast majority of what he says.

I also like watching right wing stuff so I don't end up in a echo chamber, I find most right wing stuff rediculous. But there's some crazy thigns happening that I wouldn't be aware of if I didn't watch it so I'm glad I do/did

What is the point of devisions if anyone is allowed to compete in them?

[–] AnonomousWolf@lemm.ee -3 points 2 weeks ago (4 children)

Sport has always had devisions and you need to draw lines who is and isn't allowed in a devision.

Example: Under 21 years old Undee 80kg Handicapped Ober 40 years old Women's Etc.

You can't just let anyone compete in any devision else you don't have devisions, and you need to draw lines where those devisions begin and end.

All I'm saying is IMO when it comes to the Women's devision, it's shouldn't be black and white.

I'd think swimming, but a better example might be basketball.

Going through male puberty would make you taller than you would have otherwise been, and in basketball beign taller gives you an advantage.

I can accept spots deciding for themselves.

However a lot of sports have decided that trans women who went through male puberty aren't allowed in their women's devision.

Insults again, I'm done talking to you. I want a civil discussion.

Look at the sub you are in.

I feel the way I do, and I am open to having my mind changed. Getting angry at me and immediately using insults like shut your fucking piehole isn't going to change my mind, and is against the rules of this sub.

I would like to have my mind changed, if I'm not allowed to have a conversation about how I feel, how is that going to happen?

This seems to be a black and white issue for many, always Yes or always No.

As with most thigns I feel the truth is somewhere in the middle.

It's a spectrum

IMO

A biological man who never underwent puberty and never got the benefits of higher testosterone etc. should be allowed in women's sports.

But, someone like Usain Bolt, who because of undergoing male puberty has bigger bones than he would have had if he didn't, should never be allowed to compete in women's sports.

Where we draw the line, I don't know, but I don't think it's black or white.

My budget is ~500 Euro.

I haven't built a PC in 10 years, I gave no idea where to start.

It will mostly be used to run Nextcloud, Minecraft Server and some future homelab projects.

I'm thinking of using this for the case https://www.the-diy-life.com/introducing-lab-rax-a-3d-printable-modular-10-rack-system

Where do I start? What CPU or motherboard would you recommend? I want it to be somewhat future proof and also act as a NAS

I have nextcloud AIO running, and I see there is ONLYOFFICE Nextcloud Office Libre Office Markdown Editor etc.

Lots to choose from and many combinations possible, What setup are your running and what would your recommend?
