I’ve definitely looked at this, but never realized I there was a .ics option! Thank you very much; that’s super helpful!

Hi all, I’m wondering if anyone knows of an events calendar for the area that you can add as a google calendar, ical, or something similar. I’ve seen a number of places with calendars, but you have to go to their website to see what is happening and none have an .ical format except the libraries.

If I had to design one myself, it would have all the community festivals, concerts and venues, farmers markets, and pretty much everything else organized into categories that you could subscribe to as a whole or individually.

Anyway, I’m wondering if anybody knows of such a thing exists or is interested in taking that idea and running with it. Thanks and have a lovely Labor Day.

Unfortunately, budgets exist. The current govenment structure makes that unavoidable, and changing that fact is not easy or immediate.

Holy crap, Woodman's roof caved in. 😲

No doubt. It's one more for the pile of incredibly consequential elections. After that, I think we may have some reprieve until Tony is up again.

Great list of upcoming events in Madison. The list gets updated continually , but is a pretty short time frame to plan ahead.

Considering the fact that Madison just had to pass a budget referendum to avoid making cuts to services, this seems like a good way to fill that gap. It may also incentivize bus and bike travel, which would be beneficial to Metro and traffic patterns.

A brilliant website which aggregates and visualizes census data for Wisconsin municipalities.

Hi there! I'm in Madison and am pretty active on the subreddit. I'm making my way over here slowly but surely. I am in grad school for urban planning. I enjoy talking and debating politics and philosophy, and am active on the Social Democracy subreddit.
