Some people have an addiction to scrolling, thanks to skinner boxes being implemented in all the major social media sites and online marketplaces.

This app manages to fill the niche of a skinner box, with educational content rather than algotrash. This allows people to reclaim their scrolling sessions and reconditoon away from the endless dopamine dripfeed into a more healthy relationship with social media and the internet at large.

This doesn't seem accurate — what about the basic, non-oled, steam deck?

(Yes the em-dash was intentional, I like them better than hyphens for division in sentences, don't @ me I'm not a bot)

They just open sourced WSL ahead of this update. They're scared 🤣

Vegatable is a culinary term, not a scientific term. All vegetables that we human eat that are not leafy greens or tubers are in fact fruits, scientifically speaking. Cucumbers are a fruit, until you bring them into the kitchen, at which point the vegatable-fruit superposition collapses and it becomes a vegatable, full stop.

Republicans are represented by an elephant motif in US politics. While folklore and common knowledge would have you believing that elephants are scared of mice, the joke here is actually that Republicans are scared of gay teens.

Sounds worth a watch, thanks friend!

YOO is that the one where one of the LLMs gets stuck in a loop of existential despair because it must complete its task but has literally none of the tools to do so?

Is there a reason you were so hostile with your repsonse?

Second, according to this site which I referenced at the time of purchase for my TV, I'm at the appropriate distance for my screen size of 55 inches. The image is grainy at 1080p because a 4k screen has WAY more pixels to stretch the image over so at the recommended distance for a 4k screen you end up with a blocky image with chunky pixels. It's fine, it's not like its unplayable, but why would I do that when I can get just as good an experience (30hz display can only get pushed so hard) at 2k without overwhelming my hardware and have a better image as well?

I'm not a Hardcore gamer, I'm not trying to get 9000+ fps. I mostly play tetris and my ps1 on a crt. I want my games to look the way they're intended to, they're art projects and I like to respect them as such. Ergo, I play them at the highest resolution my hardware can support.

My gaming rig is also my media center hooked up to a 4k television. I sit around 7 feet away from it. Anything less than 1440p looks grainy and blocky on my display.

I can't game at 4k because of hardware limitations (a 3070 just can't push it at good framerates) but I wouldn't say it's a waste to go above 1080p, use case is an important factor.

Usually panties and a crop top, lately nothing, its too fuggin hhhoooottt in my apartment.

If I wanna wake up feeling simultaneously over and underdressed, I have a t-shirt style nightgown I like.

I think the only thing that might save this game at this point is Randy leaving a copy on a thumbdrive at medieval times

Just an aside that it tangential related.

If you are one of those muppets (I was) I implore you to spend a couple hours learning to Roll out an llm on your own machine (not leveraging someone's GPU farm, use your own hardware at home). It only takes a couple hours of fucking around with prompts to realize these things are dice rolls with heavy weights on what Rolls can come next. They're dumb as rocks, don't think at all, and even so called "reasoning" models can't solve even the most basic logic puzzles.

I used Deepthink for an hour guiding it to proper solutions for logic puzzles and it consistently hallucinates new information to result in the puzzles being easy to solve.

LLMs are NOT intelligent, they're (much like diffusion models for images) literally just making sense from random noise.
