Ignorant nonsense. I live in nyc and tons of us LOVE that people from other countries have moved here. Tons of blended immigrant neighborhoods is one of the things that makes this place so freaking fantastic. I just looked it up and I'm fairly certain it wouldn't work. Every time the output waveform gets too low then the led would turn off, which is what creates the flicker. An led needs a constant current to stay on constantly.

This makes no sense to me. If you don't like glare on your phone then just get a matte screen protector. If you specifically want e-ink then just get a small ebook device that's a similar size to this case.

That's what's so stupid about the whole problem - the solution is known and easy but it costs a tiny bit more to make so lots of manufacturers don't do it. It just needs to run off DC instead of AC. Simple.
