The dive bar that I used to frequent, but do so less because I have less time, was a favorite because they had great prices on drinks depending on the day of the week so you'd be able to try new things for less. It was also the one bar that I wouldn't find my students at since it was mostly populated with 30+ year olds and blasted punk, metal, and experimental hip-hop depending on who was behind the counter. It also had several pool tables and a shuffle board table. It was nice because I'd run into people from around town there because it's just where people over 25 congregate. They also have an open mic night, which brings in some interesting acts.

While Trump lies about everything Biden is literally dying on stage.

Good to know, I've been rocking a 1+ Eight for four years now and the first two years it was a pretty awful phone that had trouble charging but they did a software update 2 years back and it's been a perfect phone ever since. Especially since I got it on sale for $300.

I've read that the new Pixel is good and it should be around your price range.

After two interviews and the hellish experience that is air travel with several hours of layovers I have been offered an assistant faculty position. I've made it.

Yeah that's exactly why I can't risk voting for Joe Brandon.

Just got a call to come in for a tenure track teaching gig that I applied for. I'm really stoked, I thought I was out of the running since it'd been a month since the application closed.

I mean the dude is a known groomer who slips into 16 y/o dms and then waits for them to turn 18.

Story Time: My dad went to the art institute and took out 40k in loans nearly 20 years ago. He defaulted due to homelessness during the 2008 crash and they garnished his wages, making it even harder on him to get back on his feet up until 2021 when he decided to consolidate the debt. Biden is forgiving art institute debt, but people who consolidated privately are not included so my dad is SoL. Thanks Joe!

There's a decent amount of Marxists in biology -at least as far as STEM goes, but my experience with campus organizing is that the Sociology and History departments tend to be the most Marxist. English is usually pretty consistently left, but that's because they're the most abused department at any given institution.

I was subbed to his sub stack from when he was on Trueanon. He was entertaining and crazy, another death of despair under liberalism.
