Yeah. I remember using a custom keyboard back when I had an iPhone 4S lol

Yes! This community will be moving in the next week or so. Most likely lemmy.zip, but I'm not sure yet. Gonna take a look at some instances to find which one I'll migrate to.

I'll also likely make up a quick bot to repost all the old posts into the new community.

Honest question: How large is the file size for your instance? Like, how many Gb does it all take up?

If it was designed for bending, would soldering be enough? Or would it crack too easily?

Hopefully. I apparently got them all for free at some time lol (maybe when they released their latest game?). Hope they do that again.

EDIT: Apparently you can get the other episodes through a weird method. Can't try it myself since I already own the game.

First episode only!

They give the first episode away to hook you into the game, then you realize you have to pay for the rest of the game. Looks like episodes 2 and 3 are ten bucks each.

OP could care fewer.

Pounce or sand is a fine powder, most often made from powdered cuttlefish bone or sandarac resin, that was used both to dry ink and to sprinkle on a rough writing surface to make it smooth enough for writing. This was especially needed if the paper came "unsized", that is, lacking the thin gelatinous material used to fill the surface of the paper and make it smooth enough for writing with a quill or a steel nib.

I'm guessing they made a bet?

If she wins, she eats his soul (or whatever she does), but if she loses, she has to go back into the TV.

Everyone arguing over DVD players or ripping discs and I'm like "Ooooo! M.A.S.H. collection!"

For sure. The one benefit of the subreddit is looking through all the old posts using top/all.

Found these six robin eggs in the hanging fern on our front porch. Walked outside to pick up a package and saw the bird fly out of the plant. The main picture was taken on the 8th.

Here's a picture of them from today. All six eggs are still there, but they have not hatched yet:

This is a continuation of informal posts about the current state of Revolt as compared to Discord. As things stand, Revolt is probably the best replacement for Discord, however, a number of features have not yet been implemented.

As things stand, development of Revolt is a very slow process. There is little indication as to what changes are being actively developed/worked on outside of the GitHub repository. However, there was an update to the Android app that added swipe to reply and server creation in-app.

Missing Features

List is incomplete because I have only just started using Revolt myself.

  • Video chat
  • Voice chat on Android (iOS works I believe)
  • Screen sharing
  • Category and synced permissions
  • Mic noise suppression
  • Safety settings (who can message and friend you)
  • Server verification levels (email or phone verification)

Minor features (need to confirm some)

  • Server folders
  • Ephemeral (private responses to commands)
  • Embedded polls
  • A few formatting methods
  • Stickers
  • /Commands
  • Soundboard
  • Invite limits
  • Channel following
  • Apps
  • Inactive voice channel
  • Community servers
  • Onboarding
  • Server insights
  • Server templates
  • TikTok integration
  • Removing embeds
  • Microphone test
  • Mic volume adjustment
  • Profile connections (Twitch, Steam, etc.)
  • Private profile notes
  • Notification History

These will be a series of informal (for now) posts about the current state of Revolt as compared to Discord. As things stand, Revolt is probably the best replacement for Discord, however, a number of features have not yet been implemented.

This lack of particular features may prevent certain users and groups (myself included) from fully transitioning over to Revolt. The hope is that some day soon Revolt has enough feature parity to make the switch from Discord and easy choice.
