My partner and I also have 2 cats at home. Litterbox is cleaned about 6 times a day. Only possible because I usually work from home. They both insist on using the same litterbox and they are both young and still have a fairly fast metabolism. 4 out of those 6 times there’s poop in the litterbox.

I always thought I’d be a crazy cat lady someday with 5+ cats. Turns out once we got #2 I understood that 2 is enough for me.

I am now holding 2 wriggly cats which teleported into the mess to try and clean the floor with their tongues.

Sooooo… does she not know the definition of the word “abortion”? Because if she’s fuzzy on that she may want to read up on the thing she helped make illegal (except for under very specific circumstances).

True, but that can definitely be influenced in utero. For all we know something like the microplastics we now all have in our bloodstream might cause the brains of fetuses to develop differently. Also there’s a genetic component. What if people with ADHD are currently more likely to have children now than a few decades ago.

I’d argue there’s many potential reasons why there might be more people with ADHD now. I’d be surprised if the rate is fairly constant. Not that that’s easy to measure due to changes in how we diagnose (as others have already pointed out).

The amount of male to female ratio of comments on this post is wild. We’ve been tackling the female taboo skills so much in the last few decades. Obviously we’re not done but it’s time for the men to make progress too.

Also I guess I can code. And while it’s hardly weird for a woman nowadays most of my field is still 80-90% male

With a couple of governments making the switch I honestly think that things are changing to some degree. Will windows die and be forgotten by everyone overnight? Of course not. But I think there’s a real chance their piece of the pie will start to shrink noticeably. Chrome OS is dominating in schools for a few years now and Microsoft is seemingly trying hard to alienate the current windows users.

And I still feel like their definition of playable is a bit narrow. I regularly play “unplayable” games on my steam deck without much issue. You just might need to fiddle about with the controller settings, compatibility modes and use the built in magnifying tool and keyboard once in a while. It’s really not the end of the world.

My husband and I are in our mid 30’s and don’t have kids. I even work from home 90% of the time so no commute time. I have so much time that I do volunteering next to my full time job. And then I still have time for hobbies.

Nah, I wasn’t pretending. I enjoyed 85% of all of my courses so usually I was hyper focusing during class. The remaining 15% of courses were pure hell though.

Moonstone Island at the moment. And Baldurs Gate 3 because cross-play finally lets me party up with my husband.

David Draiman. Sadly I can’t listen to the guy sing anymore without my brain thinking of the horrors he is actively supporting.

I was on the left before I started reading / watching anything online. My positions didn’t change but it feels like all of politics shifted right. So I guess im further left now by comparison than I used to be.

I think the main difference for me is that the internet wrecked my trust in the mainstream media and people in power. I question things more now than I used to. Then again that could have happened naturally just by growing up too.

I am a complete beginner and I can tell that this is anything but a beginner pattern. Obviously this shouldn’t be the first project I attempt. However, could some of you maybe give me an idea of how ridiculous it would be to try this as one of my first 5 or so projects for example? How much experience would I need to work myself up to this? It looks so complicated.

Very silly question I assume. There’s literally a thumbnail URL field in my thunder IOS app when I create a post. So far I’ve tried uploading an image in my main post which creates a web address and then placing that address of the image into the thumbnail URL. That does nothing though. Can’t find a manual online or anyone asking this question.

I might be the only person struggling with this, but please tell me how I can add thumbnails. Thanks.

I love the idea of sharing some of our favorite withy stuff here. Here is an amazing book I recently started reading based off of a recommendation by another witch. This in particular is a book that is amazing for how to use magic while you are at your lowest / not at your best physically or mentally. Felt appropriate given… things.

Considering the recent changes it would be so lovely if a coven ended up forming here too. The subreddit is one of my favorite places on the internet, but I doubt it will survive the recent sitewide changes for long with the timing of the new rule and how left-leaning the sub is.

OC pic of a mushroom I took just because mushrooms.
