LeMonde has a little more about it. https://www.lemonde.fr/en/france/article/2025/05/21/french-report-warns-of-subtle-but-subversive-spread-of-muslim-brotherhood-ideology_6741471_7.html

Basically it's about promoting an extreme version of Islam, mostly funded by countries like Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Not sure. English isn't my first language. I interpret it as shots in the general direction of the diplomats, not specifically aimed at. I could be wrong.

I usually don't post stuff about Israel or the Gaza war because I don't know enough about it to have an informed opinion, but when EU diplomats gets shot at, that's news that's related to Europe imho.

And no, just because I don't have an informed opinion doesn't mean I support either side in the conflict. I do however would like the killing of civilians to stop.

The Elysee Presidential Palace has called for a measured response after a new report on the Muslim Brotherhood said the movement posed a threat to national unity. The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in Egypt almost 100 years ago, but now has branches in countries across the world. The French report will be discussed at a Defence Council meeting today, chaired by President Macron.

Sweden's parliament has passed a law banning the purchase of sexual performances for viewing online, including those on platforms like OnlyFans, marking a major update to the country’s sex purchase legislation.

Centrist and pro-European candidate Nicușor Dan has won Romania's presidential election, defeating far-right nationalist George Simion with 53.6% of the vote. Dan's victory, following a campaign emphasizing anti-corruption and EU integration, was welcomed by the European Union as a reaffirmation of Romania's commitment to Western alliances. The election followed a turbulent period marked by political instability and concerns over Russian interference.

"Business as usual with Turkey cannot continue." That was the message MEPs sent when they voted on a report about Turkey's EU accession process on May 7 in Strasbourg. Amid a crackdown on President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's political rivals as well as on protesters, MEPs said that EU membership talks with Turkey cannot be restarted in the current circumstances. At the same time, the European Union does not want to shut the door on Turkey completely, as Ankara remains a significant partner within NATO and its interests overlap with the EU's in Ukraine.

So how should the EU stand up for human rights while still pursuing some form of realpolitik? We debate that question with our panel of MEPs in Strasbourg.

Some dick pics from grinder from years ago that someone saved to use later. But the scandal isn't that, but the fact that he didn't mention this in the interview. For a job at that level you can't keep such things to yourself.
