Danny Ric might have some thoughts about being the unluckiest driver in the fucking world.

And openly accepting a winged bribe from Qatar. It boggles my mind that the better world leaders, including a few US politicians, don’t understand how he operates and get in on the game. Give him money and flattery and he’ll do whatever the hell you want.

Ain’t nothing but a big mistake…

No, that’s not quite right. Your pitch is too good. Let yourself go a little flat and you’ll have it nailed.

I presented a question in good faith. I did not state my personal position. I’m not sure what itch you’re trying to scratch by behaving this way, but I hope you find it someday.

Do you accept a position that states Hamas commits evil and Israel commits evil? Both must stop atrocities?

I have yet to see any pro-Hamas supporters, but maybe I don’t get around enough. In your view, is it possible to be pro-Palestine and anti-Hamas?

Brother-in-law teaches AP English at a fancy high school. Assigned his favorite author whom he studied extensively in grad school. Kid turns in essay with fake quotes, obviously AI. BIL meets with student. Asks if they used LLM to write paper. “No.” “Ok I’ll give you 30 seconds to find any of these quotes in the book before I call your parents and give you a zero.” Tears flow. Parents called. F obtained. Boss teacher move.

Best team logo at the time too.

Things are difficult and the actions of this administration are causing unnecessary suffering to many people. However, the republic and the world survived 8 years of W Bush, a useful idiot for super-wealthy friends of his VP, disruptor of the global order, friend to Christian nationalists, stoker of anti-Islamic violence, warden of Guantanamo Bay prison, and wrecker of the economy. The parallels to our situation today are striking. Perhaps the US will survive again.

It gives Randall-is-pissed vibes. Justifiably.

Well, it is about the difficulties of navigating the higher education system in the US as an international student, but unlike the ordinary XKCD comic, it’s not a joke.
