Hello, I am 3rd year CS bachelor student and in need of a new laptop. A relative of mine agreed to bring me one from US on January. I was wondering if it's wise to wait for M3 announcement/M2 deals or buy one of the M1 pros for very good value. What do you guys think?
Ex:
M1 Pro 16" 16GB/1TB for $1800
M1 Max 16" 32GB/1TB for $2400
M2 Air 15" 16GB/512GB for $1450 (not really preffered)
Edit: I believe even M2 is strong enough for my needs but I really care about battery life, multitasking and the gorgeous display/speakers. That's why 16" is most preferred.
Buy a refurbished from your local marketplace for 16/512. I know this is not the answer you want but other options are really not worth it in the long run.
