Had to use a W11 machine last week and this was one of the 1st things that annoyed the shit out of me. On W10 you start typing an app name and press enter and it opens. What the fuck are they at changing that. And don't get me started on Outlook or Windows explorer.

Fuck you Microsoft. I'm going to Linux as soon as possible

Same. I also treat cookies like a virus....no, no, and no again. Though I think my days are limited with that, a lot of websites now saying accept cookies or pay. I'll give up the interwebs before I accept trackers.

Say goodbye to your left nut. There's a small hard right in Ireland, the rest of us are too busy enjoying ourselves

Outlook has spent the last 2 weeks freezing on me constantly, and Excel freezes with it. Absolutely painful, seriously thinking of jumping to Linux this year, with MSoft ending support for W10.

You're in for a treat, Red Dwarf is great. I loved it as a kid. The newer series they made we're very decent too.

Is that true though? Every time I see a map, Russia is taking more ground

It must be an Android update as that's all I ever do, and I never installed Gemini. I just checked and it was there, with permissions to access WhatsApp and multiple other apps. I just removed all the permissions and disabled the app. We'll see if any future updates turn it back on.

Shhhhhneeeeeky bastards.

Does anyone know where this is at? I thought WhatsApp were being forced by the EU in 2024 to introduce this under the Digital Markets App? I'm googling, but am finding very little info.

It would be great if we could use Signal to communicate with WhatsApp groups. The sooner I can delete WhatsApp the better.

All hail The Orb
