I love 2 player games and the vast majority of my plays are with 2 players. My top recommendations are:

Azul—plays 2-4 players, and I love it with 2. Tile placement in patterns. Quick to learn and plays fairly quickly as well

Beer and Bread—you are playing as 2 rival towns using the same ingredients to make a variety of beers and breads. At the end of the game, your final score is whichever of the 2 is lower between beer or bread. A slightly longer time to learn than Azul, but still plays in under an hour

Splendor Duel—a tableau builder —you’re collecting gems to buy cards that count like permanent gems in your hand. Time to learn and play falls between the other 2, in my experience

Is there a way to confirm that the instance I’m on supports CORS before installing the update?

Overall it looks great! Just a couple of notes: the colors for up/down votes being inverted from Apollo keeps throwing me off. Also, the save button doesn’t work. I don’t know if Lemmy really has an option for saving posts, and if not it might be better to not show the save bookmark icon. If I’m wrong and there is a way to find what I saved, please let me know where to find it!

Hello all! I’m yet another reddfugee, new to Lemmy. I live in Western Wisconsin, and in my free time I love playing tabletop board games and crafting.

For board games, my favorite game to play is Terraforming Mars, but I’ll play almost any game ranging from super light card or dice games to complex Euro games.

For crafts, I do cross stitch and quilting, and I’m even working on learning to make my own clothes. For a different kind of crafting, I also enjoy drinking craft beers and exploring all the fantastic small breweries in the area.
