Hate crimes are born from opinions. My point was that at that age a lot of people think some awful things.

That may be, but my point was that the call for jail was due to their “opinions” fueling an impactful crime. You said yourself, despite the awful beliefs you held at that age, you’d have never committed such an act. I think that’s an important distinction.

I don't think they should be jailed for life at the age of eight years old for it.

FWIW, I can appreciate the reasons that there is a juvenile court system in the US and agree that life without parole seems excessive based on my limited understanding of the crime and its context.

I had some awful fluffing opinions at that age too, even if I never would have committed an act like this.

I don’t think OP wants to put them in jail for their opinions, but because they committed this act…

Who will be ignored next?

I hate to say it, but there hasn’t been a time in modern history where there weren’t women and children starving while the rest of the world did nothing.

Then maybe stay home and not vote harder?

"We [the rich] are sick of financing you. You want health care? Befriend a doctor. You want entertainment? Go roll around the mud with your fellow pigs."

This is apparently not a real quote from Musk: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/musk-billionaires-tired/

Plenty to be concerned about, all the more reason it’s important to be factual.

I presume they’re too focused on their big win with how they saved Gaza to worry about anything else…

I’m curious if he would have felt the same way had he become aware of any Hispanic US citizen being detained by ICE, or if he only feels this way because it happened to him, specifically.

Are you suggesting that every civil service position ought to be elected (or that there ought not be a civil service)?

I was under the impression that JD Vance enjoys the financial support of Peter Thiel et al.?

How Peter Thiel and Silicon Valley funded the sudden rise of JD Vance

OP is asking an interesting and important question. While I don’t claim it as definitive, there was an insightful article written in 2016 that attempted to address the question head on: How Half Of America Lost Its F**king Mind

I searched the link you posted and did not find a single mention of Kamala?

Despite people perhaps still believing this, I believe it was largely disproven in the 1960s by the Milgram experiment.
