C'mon man.

An article from The Times?

A magazine based in the US; with search terms involving the US election, hurricanes, and the Powerball?

These are obviously search terms exclusive to the US.

Here are the 2016 search results directly from The Goog, itself - but from the UK - y'know, where Brexit happened.

While not number 1 under the "What is" section, it does pop as #4, alongside "What is Brexit" at #2.

Can't agree with this more.

Our longtime TTRPG group just started a PF2E campaign and it's been a whole lot of fun!

There are so many options available to you - everything feels really fresh and new, while still being familiar. The action economy especially feels so much better compared to 5e.

As an Alaskan, there ain't no fuckin' way. Majority of these yahoos would rather get trampled by a moose than vote for anyone with a D next to their name.

I'm glad that Mary Peltola won her race, but she really only did because of the native vote (and she only won by 3% vs Sarah Palin, who Alaskans don't particularly care for.)

L.L. Bean rocks! My mom bought me one of their backpacks in 4th grade because I was notoriously rough on backpacks...That was twenty years ago, and one of the zippers only just recently lost one of its teeth. That thing has been with me through so much shit - nearly every plane ride I've ever taken, all of highschool, all of college. I love it.

Man, I was right there with you. I was like, "Oo boy, I wonder where Anakin is on this list."

I was very confused when Stranger Things was the first entry.

Your Firefox looks exceedingly similar to mine...

Technically our sun isn't big enough to explode. It will expand though!

The digital catalog is always my first stop when looking for a book to read!

Libby lives on the first page of my home screen - and I often will put something on hold, completely forget about it, and then 5-6 weeks later it pops up. It's like a little Christmas present!

Definitely no arguments there!

I think a lot of middle managers get a small taste of power, and at that point take on the "corporate drone" personality, and start parroting the corporate agenda as well as wanting to directly micromanage their employees (can't do that if they're not there.)

"Stakeholders this, we're here to make the company money that, yada yada yada"

The thing is that the reason corporate wants people back to the office is that these companies have put so much money into these office buildings, and if they don't get their workers back to the office, then that equals a loss! Can't have that! They can't sell the buildings off either since the housing/commercial building market is trashed right now, so again they'd be taking a huge loss.

So even with all of the benefits of WFH to people's work/life balance, mental wellbeing, and productivity, the company is losing some X amount of money, and that's what they really care about.
