Be mindful of the country and location where you are and where and when water quality is tested. (At waterplant or at taps in random houses) Some western countries have véry old water pipes in the ground and therefore it might still be wise to not drink straight from the tap.

Fun fact about the Netherlands (might be for Germany aswell) the water from the tap has a higher quality than water from bottles. This is because the quality standards and regulations for tap water are higher than for bottled water.
