I also left after the api access changes. I am so glad I switched, this a much more ethical model of operation.
I love organic maps, sometimes I practice navigation by turning location off and using a compass with the downloaded map on my phone.
I hope Signal doesnt end up getting outlawed in the US. Elon musk seems to be against it now, and he has a lot of power these days.
