Those that are on Threads are likely not even aware of the rest of the fediverse. I think that when they interact with us they will be. And when Meta decides it's time to start ads some people will think it's better over here. Also, some people won't like Threads using an algorithm on their feed.
I'm not a fan of Meta and I don't want to join Threads. But there may be some people over there I would like to follow. At least on Mastodon, we can block any instance we choose to manually. I hate when instances make the decision for me.
Defederation should be a last resort when there are so many options here for people to tailor their own feeds.
If someone could add the wolf logo on this page to that theme it would be perfection!
I see what you're doing there and they don't look bad. Still I would prefer the actual LibreWolf Logo in there. Also, I cannot get past the best looking theme out there, which I use on both Chrome and LibreWolf. They are going to need an algorithm if they want to keep people. The whole fediverse needs it for that matter. It makes for less work for the user base. User chosen or created is fine, but they need it.
I'm the only Android user in my family. We use Signal for messaging and video calls. Anything Google implements is not likely to be cross platform anyway.

Mull would be perfect except for the annoyingly slow refresh rate enabled by the fingerprint resistance. It needs to just report a low refresh rate while actually using a higher one.
Working in the caddyshack. I use that all the time which makes me think you're genX too. I think maybe the fediverse skews older because we've learned from our mistakes with prior social media.
