On mobile I only use New Pipe for videos. Admittedly, I don't do much YouTube but I haven't noticed any problems on my laptop.

It is my default. I use ublock and Dark Background Light Text extensions. And the reader view is better than any chromium phone browser.
hmmmm. I'm still on 122.1.0-2 but I'm using flatpak. Does that sound right?
Thank you for your effort, but I honestly already knew all this. What I want to know is why one couldn't simply report 60hz to fingerprinters while, in reality, maintaining the highest possible rate in the browser.
I don't want to turn off resist fingerprinting but that refresh rate ruins the browser for me.
I would use mull if they only increased that refresh rate. But as it is now, I use Firefox on mobile in the strictest tracking protection mode and UBO.
I love librewolf too but there is no mobile version. And don't say mull because that refresh rate makes it unusable.
I agree with you on this much of the time. Especially on sites today that have ads. The fediverse doesn't have that problem.
But the mobile web interface isn't that great yet for Lemmy. Pixelfed's web interface is so good I debate whether or not to use an app but Lemmy isn't there yet.
I use Summit for now. I went through quite a few others but this one is a keeper.
I just like to run a browser on my laptop which can sync with the browser on my phone
I know nothing about kiwi or yandex. Maybe the next time I'm checking out alternative browsers I'll take a look. Do they have desktop and mobile versions?
I enjoy Firefox as my default android browser because I enjoy the best reader mode and extensions like Dark Reader and UBO. 400+ extensions is more than enough for me. Last time I checked, Chrome offered zero extensions on mobile. It tracks me and sends ads.
Sync works great over here. It even syncs history which is great because I use an extension on the laptop to limit history to 28 days and that becomes synced with Android without an additional extension.
