If you have an iCloud account you can get custom domain emails for $2 a month. Might be a cheep option

You should be fine then!
If you keep up to date with all the vulnerabilities for the software you use you should be generally pretty safe.
Gitea all the way they’re even supporting actions now which makes it good for a 100% self hosted solution.
