I'd speak to management and voice your concerns regarding the app, and ask if there is another method available for entry. If not, I'd cancel my membership and look for another gym that respects my privacy.

Which ones do you think are bad recommendations?

If you're on Android, you could check out Newpipe or Grayjay.

For me it was when they banned Blitzchung from a Hearthstone tournament and took away his prize money for supporting Hong Kong freedom. I haven't regretted it since they don't make good games anymore like they did when I was growing up.

When sequel?

That and the bouncing icons when an app is loading... always thought that looked tacky.

They do, it's called SteamVR and it's good.

Ditch the Roku and get another Shield or other Android TV device.

Filebot, I like and use the app but it shouldn't be a subscription. You can buy a lifetime license for $48 but it's too expensive for what it is.

As a counter point, I'm against defederation of other instances on kbin and would prefer most moderation to take place on an individual level.

I've subscribed to a bunch of magazines here on kbin and other lemmy communities across various instances, but I don't see a way to only show posts that I've subscribed to.

Also, is there a way to only see posts here on this (kbin.social) instance?

I know the posts and content are shared between instances, but if an instance is shutting down it would be useful if there was a way to migrate your user data / identity to another instance.

I'd guess you would have to approve the move on both instances, I don't know if this is feasible or not given how the fediverse / ActivityPub is structured.
