I am personally using and Qobuz and Tidal (because they complement each other in certain genres), but for my kids and wife we have a Spotify family subscription. They like all the crap songs on there, so I will probably have a hard time getting rid of Spotify.

For general maps usage and looking things up, I use OsmAnd Maps. It does have navigation, but it lacks live traffic information. So whenever I have to drive somewhere, I'll use TomTom GO.

I played the original on PC, but had to use some mods to fix some stuff. Also, the framerate is horrible in certain places. I definitely recommend playing the Remaster unless you need an extra challenge.

Yep I did the same thing, but running a private Invidious instance (frontend for YouTube) with only subscribed to the channels I really want to watch. Result is no more infinite rabbit hole of recommended videos, just the ones I really want to watch.
Oh darn. Since I have a Steam Deck I've been wishlisting games like a mad man. It's going to hard to not buy new games. One of the reasons I got a Deck is that I want to clear out by backlog.
They are adding new counties every now and then. I believe they added Taiwan to the list, the country they're actually assembled.
I'm on Signal (obviously not self hosted) and even if I really wanted to move to another platform be it self hosted or yet another privacy focussed one, I can't ask my friends and family to move to another platform again. I already asked them to move away from WhatsApp, can't do it again..
The fact that The Fediverse apps are compatible with each other is amazing. This in theory means that one can create your own Fediverse app as long as its compliant to the specifications, right? For example, we could create a LinkedIn clone or something similar?
