Considering what chat gpt does to your brain, I bet that literally is the case lol https://www.media.mit.edu/projects/your-brain-on-chatgpt/overview/

Oh cool I just assumed you were the one downvote on my comments in this thread lol
And Fallout 1 and 2 not being culturally relevant at this point doesn't really mean anything, it's off topic. It just means those games aren't popular anymore either. But New Vegas has long outlived the bethesda games in pop culture, and imo that's bc it's actually well written and interesting on account of the writers having actual knowledge and passion for the franchise (and being better writers in general)
I definitely remember New Vegas being panned on launch, I was kind of part of that when I was too young to know any better lol. But immediate acclaim is very much not an indicator of good media, and tons of all-time classics are panned and misunderstood on release and only appreciated in hindsight. That is very much the case here, fallout 3 and 4 have no cult following or cultural staying power compared to New Vegas, shown by how almost nobody loves them like NV fans love NV and hardly anyone talks about them anymore other than "I would not rob you of that" and "another settlement needs your help"
I'm not saying you can't prefer 3 or 4, it's kinda weird and rude downvoting all of someone's comments just bc you disagree with them about fallout cx
Black Isle became Obsidian, so yeah it's their thing in every way other than legal. And I don't like the bethesda fallout games at all. 3 has a story and setting even more creatively bankrupt than The Force Awakens, 4 can barely even be considered an RPG, and they've both got bland bethesda writing and characters rather than the iconic stuff from the Black Isle/Obsidian games. I haven't played 76 but at the very least it seems like bethesda finally did something original with the franchise rather than just copying and pasting everything from the west coast onto the east coast and slapping a green filter on it.
I don't want a critically acclaimed AAA bethesda RPG, I want another Fallout game. And compared to NV, how much cultural significance does 3 have other than people making fun of it? I see a ton of references to and memes about New Vegas, but not many about 3 besides "it is your destiny and I would not rob you of that" or "death is a preferable alternative to communism"
Same with malthusian bullshit, nothing fascist here

"I know it will sound like "conspiracy theory" or antisemitism" you're right, it does!
O yeah it's also totally off topic for this sub
Seriously that's like saying eugenics is a personal choice and not something to be enforced. Would you view someone as anything other than a fascist cunt if they were a eugenicist but totally didn't wanna force it on other people?
It literally does. Choosing not to have kids =/= antinatalism, if you're the former you should stop associating with misanthropic ecofascists who think humanity is a plague that needs to be wiped out. Do you seriously not see how blatantly silly and evil that is? And don't say that's not what it is, I have heard exactly that from p much every antinatalist I've had the displeasure of seeing on the internet
I get it, existence is pain, you didn't ask to be here, yada yada fucking yada. Grow up, stop being an emo 12yo and try actually giving a shit about humanity

I'm a fan, the ergonomics remind me a lot of a Dualshock 3
