I see where the humor comes in but that doesn't really change the mod decision, neither does it make sense to mod weeks after. /f
Mmh... what did you expect? There was a mod comment under your comment for the better part of a day and "retarded" is in pretty much every single list of ableist language.
/f
The numbers are fine, but :/
Since I can't pin @fluxx1@lemm.ee's comment:
The article is new. However, it is about ESC 2024 rather than yesterday's event.
/f
a retarded conservative
Could you remove the ableist slur, please? /f
@mriswith@lemmy.world It would indeed be great if you could avoid throwing around such accusations. There surely is a time & a place for such but ...
- From my outsider's POV, I don't know if I agree with the argument that this is just a diversion measure. However, politicians regularly perform media-attention sleight of hand of that sort, so it's imo at least a somewhat credible argument.
- If you do notice a pattern, it would be great if you could DM this mod account first.
Thanks!

Thanks! For the record, I don't doubt it and it was on German news as well. The rule exists to protect us against people posting old/miscontextualized pictures -- again, to be clear: I don't think you were doing that at all.
/f
Please remove the insult, thanks.
@cm0002@lemmy.world Given the circumstances, could you editorialize the title a little, i.e. "EU preparing to impose much higher tariffs on imports from Ukraine" or similar?
Ftr: The original FT article that gives a bit more detail.
/f
No problem. :)

The problem is that people is unable to find where to put their despair (in this case, support for Palestine) to real and concrete action. So, instead of joining Red Cross or something, they come here to fight the moderation team (i.e. calling us Nazis or assuming we support EU nations giving weapons to a state that's been accused of genocide). This is because we happened to draw a line as to "how" you should criticize Zionism.
