I won't rule it out but I think it would be way more difficult to pull of a 9/11 style attack in a post 9/11 world. Even ignoring security theatre and other changes like reinforced cockpit doors I think it's unlikely for hijackings to be as successful in a world where people know an airliner can be a missile and not just a hostage situation.

Unless the pilots themselves decide to do a 9/11...

That almost immediately I shifted to "ok so long as they take it seriously and don't let it get a foothold in America we'll be alright, I am concerned that the lack of healthcare/social safety net there would barriers to a real quarantine and further spread covid"

I found out about Lokomotiv when I did a presentation on Yaroslavl, I picked them 100% based on their name/train theme ( TRAIN GOOD ), Kunlun Red Star are my second favorite team because they're the only Chinese team and have a communist theme.

I'm very happy that Lokomotiv are a strong team but I'd still be cheering for them if they were the bottom of the league

True, I did overlook that aspect of it. Depending on what the end of the war looks like (Russian occupation, annexed territory, etc) we could see plenty of terror attacks against Russians/those viewed as collaborators

What a nailbiter of a game! Kunlun Red Star came out of the gates strong scoring the first goal in the first period and widening their lead early in the second with another goal! Lokomotiv wasn't deterred, scoring once late in the second and managing to tie it up in the last few minutes of the third! The railwaymen must've built up a good head of steam because they were quick to end it in overtime, scoring almost immediately to bring the final score to 3-2 in Lokomotiv's favor!

My prediction is they'll first blame zelenskyy although whether they manage to grab him or he escapes is up for grabs. Then it's either on to blaming amerikkka or their other European backers. Amerikkka is the most obvious target, but distance and lack of a land border might make striking at Amerikkka more difficult. That leaves terror attacks in places like Germany or Poland, much closer and they share a land border over which they could smuggle all sorts of hardware from Ukraine.

I think it's not unlikely that we see some of Ukraine's special forces/ideological fighters committing terror attacks against their former backers. And with all the weaponry that's been flooded into Ukraine they'll have plenty of options. Random shelling with mortars, DC sniper style attacks, drone terror bombing, Brabant Killers shooting sprees, hell they could use a portable anti-air missile launcher and take down an airliner. All of these would be possible with fairly small portable weapons that wouldn't be too hard to "misplace" from military stockpiles and smuggled across the border

I'm not in America, and as far as I can tell they're just required to provide safe clean drinking water, which they do. They require any water/drinks to be kept around a corner since we deal in food prep sometimes, and as far as I'm aware it doesn't break any labour code. Don't get me wrong, I still do it since only one or two managers actually cares, but it sucks when the power tripping dipshits are on the schedule

Thank you! I've heard this kind of maintenance is a pain in the ass for laptops but I hate throwing out electronics that are fine aside from one component! Maybe this experience will change my mind but the fan replacement seems (relatively) straight forward
