It's not fictions job to sell your latest rentier extraction tool. The news media already does it by reprinting PR releases just be grateful for that.

If you want a positive view of the future any startup has the power to make one at any time. Then when you don't get funding you'll see where the real problem lies.

I suppose if you use that definition then when America invaded it became a failed state run by warlords and now it has recovered.

Typically working with a junior on a project is slower than not working with them. It's a little odd you see this as like that and that it's also faster.

The thing to understanding crashes is that they're a crude signal of an underlying reality. Not a thing in themselves.

This isn't like the 2008 crash, or any other, because the reality that's causing the number to go down is totally different. Except maybe the great depression. It's a bit like that.

There's a lot of suspiciously crap games that manage to explode to the top of the steam trending list. I've been bitten before.

This one has art that looks so generic I can't even tell if they're screenshots or promo pics unrelated to the game. It suddenly makes sense now I know it's genai. It's not trying to communicate anything to a user it's just vibes man.

It could also spell the end of today’s open Internet, as Europeans look to build alternative platforms to those of the giant U.S. tech firms.

I think you mean "closed internet"!

Shadows is great tbh. Can't speak about sales figures but it's the most fun I've had with AC in ages. The jumps being ninja roll jumps is perfect.

Valhalla was far too serious, a schlocky Japanese revenge flick is much more on target.

You've imagined a whole set of problems totally at odds with reality.

The problems are mostly around exclusion, by other staff and parents.
Parents speaking to the female teacher and trusting them over the male one, and children copying this behaviour etc.

Male teachers in primary schools have a whole set of problems unique to them, this is not a case of women being more willing to accept abuse or a lower status.
