Ranked choice is still better though… scale doesn’t really matter here, the point is to let people vote for who they want, not for who they think might win.
Why are you blaming leftists for Trumps win? We make up like 1% of the population, tops. You should instead point the finger at Republicans for voting for him. Or the Dems for running a totally weak and ineffectual campaign. (Or how about the oligarchs who only want to divide us so that they can rob us blind?)
Fascists will always ignore protests. The point isn’t that the protests themselves will change things, the point is to organize now so that when violence becomes more widespread, resistance groups already exist and can effectively recruit partisans.
This coup isn’t going to end peacefully. It’s time we start realizing that and preparing ourselves to fight.
The reason the numbers are idiotic is because they don’t need to make sense. There is no point to these tariffs other than to crash the US economy so that fat cat rich scum can buy everything and create corporate feudalism.
