Clarification: I have some cracked plugins, could they be the issue — but an issue here is that even if I run them AE 2025 safe mode, it still does the scanning shenanigans.

I did the correct steps, but when I launch aftereffects — it gets stuck on a random item to "scan" with and quits by itself. Any solutions?
