True. I do I think a human could internally decide to be trans, make any or no changes, declare it to others and still be valid as trans. Humans just really value certain observable indicators to tell what's going on. There's some kind of interesting metaphor about how humans being this way gives us a lot of interesting freedom to express ourselves but also limits us in many ways overlaid with what the tree is doing.

😍My hero😍

Brown head throwing me off, about to be an adult? Not a grosbeak I don't think, beak was on the thinner, pointier side.

This ain't it OP. I am a nature guy and a cat guy so I get it, but it really is not it.

I completely understand and thank you for engaging in good faith.

Definitely part of the reasoning for my actions is that it is so overwhelmingly difficult to do everything needed in society these days. Take care of kids, attend to one's work duties, fulfill social obligations, take care of one's health, find time for fulfilling hobbies, all that. And then add on top of it all the incredible work it takes to be a conscientious consumer of products and participant in culture... It becomes overwhelming.

The extra burden of providing a nuanced response to perceived AI is onerous to me. It feels heavily burdensome. I guess there's a sweet spot I should seek. Food for thought for me. I bet there's a similar chain of thought for you in there somewhere.

Sure. The black and white filter pencil style drawing is really easy to get a decent result with AI. There are two specific shirts that use that on this site. Those little radiating lines out from the drawing are pretty common for AI to make. There are a couple shirts on the site with very glossy, fairly realistic humans with watercolor backgrounds that are also very common for AI to spit out. No artists are specifically listed. There is no indicator of a "no AI" statement.

Again, I'm not even specifically saying that it is, I'm asking out loud. I'm wondering why this feels particularly offensive to you. Do you have an interest in this site? I think it is all of our duties to stand up with a critical eye, in good faith, for things that we believe in. Suppressing that seems like it's probably to the detriment of humanity.

If asking a question about a product that I even indicate that I like is a problem, that seems pretty weak.

I'm not interacting in bad faith or being a hater, I'm trying to engage in a reasonable discourse about the nature of our reality. Only a fool would say that the advent of mass produced AI slop churn is irrelevant or not real.

I didn't even say that is conclusively was, it's a question. My eyeballs are my source. I did message them to inquire because I'd buy their stuff.

You know what is real though? The advent of AI graphics heavily permeating the Internet and truly I don't care for it.

I really dig that, but AI?

You could do way worse. I am adjacent to that sphere and he has very good takes. Impossible to be totally right from all perspectives at all times but guy is very intellectually honest and has put in work to gain his perspective and clearly considers his life critically. He's legit.

Been loading up on milkweed seeds and have managed to obtain some that are not in my native bioregion of North carolina.

Are you, dear reader, living in a place where these are native? I will mail them to you. Check these images and leave a comment, I will DM you.

Here it is after hardening off some. I wonder how many tadpoles it ate.

The grapes should be the one with the parallel lines all over it, porcelainberry does not have that. Anyone have thoughts?
