Understood and agreed. One just gets fatigued with parsing the good and bad in society. Sometimes one just wants to hit the pause button and decline to do the mental effort for once in the face of the overwhelming badness that is present in life. Turn the gaze to the things I can control and know are totally good. Hopefully I can donate monthly again in the future.

This is what was being defended or at least brushed off. I left Reddit for a better alternative, which this is but I am overwhelmed with the amount of shit in this world I'd rather give monthly to someone else. Might as well just subscribe to some substacks or something at this point. 🤦
