Yeah, there's little I dislike more than HAVING to drive in the city or through one. Luckily, we're working on a project that is close enough to public transportation for the time being.

I'll be sad once this one finishes because, I'll most likely need to return to car life.

Imho people in gated communities still have those problems (therefore, this fence).

Where as most people who have those problems more frequently, can't afford to live in gated communities.

Huh, I wonder how many liberals are familiar with the symbol of the iron front.

The filthiest. The revolutionary plasm of first-level societies was postulated to do things like invigorate crop growth, promote facial hair growth, and allow communards to have sex for eight hours straight.

I was hoping Ras got arrested as a protest. It appears the situation was less about civil disobedience on his part and more about ICE/DHS agents simply flexing their authority.

If you're looking for a revolution you'll probably be disappointed friend. We're more likely to see change in the world by interacting with our own community. Be there for our neighbors, even if it's just to shoot the shit.

Mutual aid and all that hippy shit is what's unironically gonna change things. My take is just not to take it too seriously and just be a good person.

If the actions you're engaging in result in a gain for the capital class, stop doin' it. Stop enriching the capital class. Stahp it!

A couple examples like: working for lower wages, allowing them to collect and share your data, engaging in needless consumerism, blah blah blah.

The point is, they are few and they are united in their shared interests. It's time we, as the many, do the same.

Do what's in our best interest, not theirs.

I would support legislation that mandated these be used around the highest carbon emitting facilities. Maybe a few very well designed structures (algae tanks) in very densely populated cities.

These would be in no way a replacement for trees in a community but, I could see forcing the corporations to use them. Such as those that must pollute because, they can not manufacture these products without polluting.

True but, there's something special about sitting at the edge of your bed after a long day and they come up and embrace you with bare chested tenderness.

Agreed, It's very comforting.

I did my daughter's ponytail, unprompted, much to my wife's surprise. She loved it and I felt like I was taking a zen garden.

She needed to redo my work but, was still proud of myself.
