Here in Canada the last government is asked first, if there is no clear majority anyway.

I actually forgot all about that red wave play until you brought it back up it honestly helps a bit.

I'm sorry, I'm just prone to worst case thinking.

Who knows, seems likely to me, but in any case the early vote numbers /breakdowns stress me out. If Trump wins the election, I'm going to have to just get off social media, I've already had to delete YouTube, for my mental health and just live without thinking about how bad the world is getting around me.

Edit: Do not be discouraged by my doom and gloom, I'm Canadian, I can't vote, you can so go do it. Do it now if you can.

This "loser" language bothers me because it perpetuates a most seats = government idea that simply doesn't exist in parliamentary systems. At least not the ones I'm familiar with. You've only really "lost" if you can't pass a confidence motion. Is this different in the Austrian context?

Trump doesn't get the benefit of the doubt. He is a racist who says racist things, like this.

But not with consent! -Trump in particular

Yea it's always had the air of bullshit to me

I wrapped it in single quotes so it makes more sense. Thanks

I don't beleive in carbon capture like this, but I do hope it works. I'd rather be wrong here.

Canada is great.

It's perfectly emblematic of how Trump doesn't just 'other' people for political gain, it's built in.
