The character create has you choose your pronouns and one of the options is they/them

It worked for Kanye. Has anyone tried showing them 21 Jump St?
They’re the ones I know of that defederated from Hexbear.
Lemmy.world is the largest instance that defedded with us, so might be worth switching if you don’t want to wait for the instance blocking feature to come out.
We’ve also defedded from Lemmy.ca and blahaj, but I wouldn’t join those ones. If you’re Canadian, maybe Lemmy.ca is better than world? I don’t know a lot about blahaj, but it doesn’t seem like a space I’d want to be in seeing how recent interactions went.
Someone in one of the federation threads posted a screenshot of their comments with negative karma as proof that they were downvoted for comments on Hexbear.

There’s two versions.
We also have the original picture as an emote
To be more fair than they deserve, this is a bigger issue when posting on other instances due to a Lemmy bug that enlarges the emotes into full size pictures. However, I’m sure they’ll keep complaining about it once it’s fixed.

Hexbear tries to be anti-sectarian, so I think the general definition of leftist here would be anti-capitalist.
The user base probably leans more ML/communist than anarchist, though.
I need to start doing that on
The evil CCP is committing genocide against deserts!
I would disagree that liberalism only appeals to people who are entirely disengaged.
There are so many passionate and obsessed liberals. People who do canvassing, go to peaceful protests (while criticizing protests that are too disruptive), DVR MSNBC shows, listen to Pod Save guys, etc.
They’re saying that your take is so incoherent that you need to develop a foundational understanding of the basics.
Before you can learn calculus, you need to learn arithmetic so you don’t end up saying things like 2 != sqrt(4)
