I’m English born, grew up in Australia, and I am now a naturalized Canadian. If someone said they were British I wouldn’t think they were referring to ethnicity. The US has a unique and unhealthy perspective on ethnicity and race. I hope that a naturalized immigrant to the UK would consider themselves British.

Trump should know better, he was alive in 1812 but he was probably dodging the draft back then too

Now I can't unsee it!

Well it definitely isn’t unlimited data if there is a speed or time limit. I’m this case, there are both.

Interesting perspective but I would argue that the data speed is set to 0, not NULL. They change the speed from say 50Mbps to 0Mbps. And 0Mbps is slower than 50Mbps. And to be clear, I think it’s shitty behaviour by Freedom, I just think semantic debates like this are fun

Technically no data is slower

I want all of the consumer protections EU citizens get like being able to side load apps on iPhones etc.

These seem like reasonable changes

I 100% agree that big tech is using AI in very unethical ways. And this isn’t even new, the chairman of the U.N. Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Myanmar stated that Facebook played a "determining role" in the Rohingya genocide. And then recently Zuck actually rolled back the programs that were meant to prevent this in the future.

I am too the real Nicole!

You should be accurate with your language if you’re going to claim a whole industry is unethical. And it’s also important to make a distinction between the technology and the implementation of the technology. LLMs can be trained and used in ethical ways

Nicole must really love me to go to all this hassle to find me

We haven't seen the mangy fox since the successful treatment. We left a feeding out the night after his treatment but a horde of raccoons found it. We left out more food the last night and today we saw one of the healthy foxes marking their territory around the feeding area. This explains why we haven't seen the mangy fox around for the last few days. Hopefully our previous feedings will keep the mangy fox nourished while the medication takes affect. We'll keep an eye out for it and the neighbours know to keep a lookout too.

I used to be fit, running, cycling, partner acrobatics, etc. But I have done very little cardio, strength, or flexibility training since our wonderful daughter came along. She doesn't sleep well so part of the problem is energy. But the main issue is finding time. My partner and I both work remotely, I have a 08:00-16:30 tech job and my partner teaches music online in the evenings. So I'm either working, playing with my daughter, or exhausted. I'm not complaining, I love my life and being a dad. I want to stay fit and healthy so I can be my daughter's father for as long as possible. I also don't want to be hard on myself, I know these toddler years will fly past if I'm not mindful. How do other parents maintain fitness? We don't have any extended family close.
