For me I like the smaller, limited amount of content. I get in, scratch the itch for random content and conversation and get out.

I live in China and it boggles my mind I can’t even find deodorant to buy in any shops, even at Wal-Mart.

Taking ten times longer to cook would have have some big cost disadvantages though, both fast food restaurants and regular consumers wouldn’t like it.

Putin just visited there a couple months ago, one of the very few trips he’s been able to make. I’m sure that’s just a coincidence.

A large portion of people in the world live in places with very restrictive governments and need VPNs for accessing the general internet. I live in China for example and need a VPN to get through the Chinese firewall to access nearly everything.
