I was a janitor during all of COVID at a hospital. I cleaned the ER, Med Surg, ICU, and the maternity ward. Our pay was cut by 25% for two months to help alleviate the hospital's expenses. They excused it by saying even the CEO was taking a 25% cut. I literally could not afford food during those two months bc I was let go from my other job bc of the pandemic.
