Before things like meth and Trump, Gulf Shores was pretty cool. But I can't imagine it's kept up. I have visited southern Louisiana in the meantime, and it's gone to hell in a handbasket.

If Covid didn't smarten them up, I doubt the beetuspocalypse will either.

Literally the artificial gravity on surface ships. Sometimes, if you time it just right, you can float up 7 stairs or completely miss your bunk.

Use 2 E192 in parallel: a 6.19Ω resistor with a 4500Ω resistor. This gives 6.1846Ω which is close enough for rock and roll.

AFAICT, the outcome of the game has nothing to do with the athletes. It's based on how hard the fans hoped and prayed for their selected team to prevail. Other than that, it comes down to corruption and incompetence among the officials.

That's around the same latitude as Kiel in Northern Germany. Go up to Stockholm and it sets around 2:45 pm at the earliest.

When mom cooked breakfast, she'd collect bacon grease (as, like, supplemental butter) and add that to subsequent meals. AFAIK, it still happens, but is probably less common.

Misleading title as per the first part of the video. If you funneled it through a straw, only a small amount would come out due to cavitation. If you turned off cavitation, then yes, you'd have a pressure washer operating at speeds comparable to the speed of light.

You know, when I saw the title, I thought to myself, "I've been there... on a warship." Then I saw the pic. Is the Portland Rose Festival happening now?
