Skimmed the article, seems like the "some" refered to in the headline are specifically GOP lawmakers (as opposed to polling of actual red state residents, or democrats who think they don't deserve all the jobs it's creating), so status quo nonsense basically. The article does go into a lot more detail about the received benefits, and what those lawmakers are doing about it though, so worth the read if you have time.

Living in WV right now and you know I'm getting out there to vote
From what I've heard from Military friends, there are generally 2 kinds of people you can find there: the normal ones like your friends who do what they're told like they're trained, and the weird ones who get a really big head about it, are generally a pain in the ass to deal with, and are usually given the shittiest jobs because their officers just don't want to deal with them. When dealing with veterans, you can usually determine who was who by how entitled they act about their military service.
There was a livestream of the lettuce and everything. It was great.
Damn, someone really said "a pox upon you" and it worked way too well huh
Fr tho from what I'm reading online monkeypox looks harder to spread than corona, requiring either direct contact with contaminated skin or materials or prolonged face-to-face contact. As long as this latest outbreak isn't a direct result of a mutation that makes it more easily spreadable, practices developed during Covid should be more than enough to keep people safe at scale - although this time the heavy sanitation of physical surfaces in public spaces and infrastructure will be far more necessary, especially since I'm sure a certain segment of the population we're all familiar with by now will be posting tiktoks about rubbing their mpox scabs all over hand rails and bus seats.

The issues and the conditions favor Donald Trump.
I'm sorry, what issues are those? Abortion? Livable wages? Climate change? Corporate greed? Social safety nets? Or is the assumption still "R= good economy"
Toyota should add "can become a mini-nuke" to their sales pitch. I'm sure they'll get at least half of NCD with that alone.
If you have the audacity to write a book with such a grand title as "Ten Years to Save the West" then you shouldn't have been in a position that a cabbage banner sporting a single factual statement can undermine you like that in the first place
The first line is "I’m a lifelong registered Republican who has voted for Donald J. Trump in the past five presidential elections."
¿por que not both?
