They don’t want you to pay. They set the price artificially high to discourage you so they continue business as usual while complying to the laws. The price is a PITA charge to make it worth their while and to still profit from the ads they would have shown you.
Interesting. So 7 AT&T and Verizon customers are suing T-Mobile because AT&T and Verizon were keeping their prices lower because of the competition from T-Mobile and Sprint. Once T-Mobile merged with Sprint, AT&T and Verizon RAISED THEIR PRICES and these customers didn’t switch to T-Mobile but instead are suing them for not having low enough prices? That’s insane that this is getting this far.
We do have them in the US but they are optional for cheaper rates for insurance.

Well no shit. This person used their position in academia to spam out a newsletter of their political affiliation to the student body. The offer was rescinded because the law firm saw that they don’t know or follow proper etiquette in positions of supposedly unbiased positions. This person will likely not be proper legal counsel to individuals or companies they might not personally see eye to eye.
