Help is on the way. An ambulance will be at your location shortly.

I've said that, and meant it, but it was when Teams first came out. At the time, it was just a bare-bones Slack clone with the alternative being the godawful Skype for Business. lol.

All they had to do was just stop making it worse from there.

Weird instance rule, but they pay the bills, so whatever?

I never bought into the whole dogwhistle story about it, but I have found that I just don't mesh well with people who use that meme a lot, so it's kind of a litmus test when I see someone use it.

The cover makes me think "made-for-TV-movie RomCom" and now I have to buy this.

DS9 Millennium

Bought that trilogy and will read it after ST: Destiny

New Frontier series

That one was also recommended. It's in the wish list, but I gotta figure out the reading order and buy them in order.

Invasion (4 books)

I didn't even see those when I was looking, but will search for them directly.

The fall (5)

Also on the wish list :)

The buried age

Will check it out.

Thanks for the suggestions, and nice stack/collection! One of the drawbacks of ebooks is they're not great for showing off or filling up a bookcase lol.

This one, right? Added it to my wish list.

And it's only $1.99. Just bought it. Thanks!

The "New Frontier" series

I saw several of those but didn't read the previews yet. I think a few of them made it to my wish list. Gonna have to see what the release/reading order is.

I just found the DRM-free ebook version for $8.99. I just bought it officially (even though I just finished reading the ethically pirated copy lol) as well as the whole Millennium series.

I don't know how this didn't come up when I was searching for it before, but this site has a lot of the Trek books available without DRM.

I never got around to to it, but I did want to add Andrew Ryan quotes over scenes of Quark and see if anyone noticed.

Yes. I always open them like I'm diffusing a bomb.

First time I’ve ever obtained edibles. They're like nerds or something?

Edibles hit me differently and stronger. If it's your first time with them, I'd go easy and start with 1/4 or 1/2 of a portion to see how they hit you personally.

They take about 45 minutes to an hour to kick in for me, and sometimes you have to say the magic incantation "These edibles ain't shit" for them to really get going lol.

I keep my IoT stuff to a minimum and only run ones that can operate locally (mostly Tasmota-based smart bulbs and outlets) , but they still get a dedicated virtual AP/SSID with station isolation enabled. That SSID is tied to a locked down VLAN with no outside access or DNS.

The only thing that they can reach from that VLAN is the MQTT server which links them to HomeAssistant.
