Having something built in is so much better than needing a dongle. There's a reason why even Apple brought back ports like hdmi and sd card slot to their Mac book pro line to eliminate even the needing a dongle for some people.

I don't think it is because the comments got restored but because the reddit profile can only display something like a 1000 comments, and scripts like power delete suite can only delete what the profile shows.
For the rest you'll need to request GDPR file and the check each comment link provided to delete the ones the scripts weren't able to delete.
Power delete suite only deletes comments visible in your profile, and if you have more than the profile is able to display you'll need to rely on the GDPR request file to manually delete the rest. I've had to go through and do that, since despite my profile showing nothing checking some comment links from my GDPR showed that there are comments that weren't deleted due to reddit comment display limitations.
Especially stuff that continues to not move on from the original universe and focusing on the same old cast of characters instead of making a brand new set of characters not held back by having ties to the original. Nothing has come close to KOTOR when it comes to post Star Wars original trilogy content.
Could be argued it is an over surplus of workers that has led to salary imbalances that aren't adequate for a lot of people, since there's so many desperate people in a position where they are willing or forced to take less. Scarcity hasn't been the problem of the labor market, which has led to increased exploitation.
Nexus 6 was beautiful. And the curved back made it comfortable to hold and turned it into a fun spinny toy on the table. Best design ever.
If price isn't good then people aren't going to go out of their way to pay for specific features. And then they only seem to support their phones for two years.

So if price and update support fall short it's not something even enthusiasts will be drawn to just because of one hardware feature they want.

Benefit comes after the initial purchase whether you got it pre-built or made it yourself. Since then you can upgrade parts as needed after instead of doing one large system upgrade. So just buying a GPU if that's what you need to upgrade instead of buying a whole new system. Or just dropping in a new CPU if your motherboard supports multiple generations like the AMD boards.
It's one of those big impacts you see going with a replaceable desktop pc over a laptop. Especially if gaming, since if you find you want a a faster cpu or GPU now your only option is just buying a whole new brand new one paying for all the other parts again.
I wait for deals and keep track of prices through price tracking sites. I might decide I want more ssd or nvme storage, and then I'll wait. Then price starts to turn like it is now and suddenly I can get more TBs for the same amount of money.
Same for phones. I'll decide I want to upgrade then wait for deals to pop up that hits my price range. Same for GPU. Same for TV. Same for games.
I don't make impulse purchasing decisions. I make a decision then wait for the market to start shifting to a price I feel like paying. Sometimes I wait a year sometimes longer. I don't feel like I intentionally go for a furgal low end or mid range option, since for me some things are worth paying more for. But, I avoid paying retail.
Yeah, Samsung one I think only relies on Samsung, so one that works off all Android would make it an easy option. Otherwise, air tag depending on the region seems like it has the most coverage.
Going to be nice not have baby the phone so much and do stuff like limiting it to 85%. And then having to go to a phone store to replace the battery because taking it apart can break the screen. And the cost making you rethink replacing the battery and just going for a newer phone.
