The public polling kept showing that people thought Biden was too old to be president again. The pundits - idiots that they are - kept trying to understand why the public felt that way. Some pundits wondered what Biden could do to change that perception. Dem pundit hacks tried pooh-pooh it away and acted like voters could be patted on the head like children and they'd fall in line.

This went on for years when the reality was staring them in the face. The fucker's too old and the public knows it.

people with dementia using anger to mask when they're confused.

I think a single dementia-related raging out of control moment in front of the media when cameras are rolling could destroy his campaign that very day.

Somehow during his presidency Biden hasn't lost his temper in public that often. And if he has - they spun it as "of course the president was angry about X - wouldn't you be?" But as his presidency has gone on - he has had more days were he looks and sounds like death warmed over. I don't know how many Americans know what sundowning is but all you needed is eyes and ears to see how much of train wreck Biden was at that debate and all you need to do is watch a random ~5m or so to get the gist of the whole thing.

They are such babies. Scared shitless? He's not a mob boss famous for torture. He's just a cranky skeletal 81 year-old ineffectual lib who moves at the speed of a sloth.

“It’s like, ‘You can’t include that, that will set him off,’ or ‘Put that in, he likes that,’” said one senior administration official. “It’s a Rorschach test, not a briefing. Because he is not a pleasant person to be around when he’s being briefed. It’s very difficult, and people are scared shitless of him.”

The first USE president is just like Ronald Reagan. He's an actor, an idiot, old, and senile. The only exception is that he's trilingual.

Here's a comment from a different thread.

This will at least put the Rs on record.

And I bet history will judge them harshly too, huh.

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

SCOTUS gave the president unlimited powers. In an unbelievable turn of events - Biden actually uses it. He throws Trump, his friends, and SCOTUS in Gitmo.

Dems: "Arsonists - be on notice! We shall fine you for every act of arson you commit!"

Arsonists: "How much will the fine—. You know what? Why am I even asking? I'll ignore you and set more fires."

Dems: "Have you no shame!

Arsonists: "Nope. Look, I've love to keep talking but I have to go. I have new fires to start."

NEW: Rep Joe Morelle (D-NY)

“I will introduce a constitutional amendment to reverse SCOTUS’ harmful decision and ensure that no president is above the law. This amendment will do what SCOTUS failed to do—prioritize our democracy”

This is how you build popular support for expanding the court. You do everything possible keep the issue alive.

You don't just say "that won't work" about messaging bills. Because you can easily say the same thing about packing the court right now.

I would rather vote for the torture nexus but...

That's beyond awesome. I'm stealing that.

The title is Unicode italic which isn't searchable so to stay sane - I'll put the plain text here so I can find it via a simple search: misty watercolor memories.
